About Later Creator

The Later Creator® programme was founded by Dr Isabella Moore, CBE

Building on the work of The Olderpreneur Alliance, a leading social enterprise dedicated to encouraging enterprise in later life.

Sharing the same mission to empower people aged 50 and over, Later Creator® provides structured training, personalised mentoring and practical support to help individuals successfully navigate the journey to business ownership.

Isabella Moore - the original Later Creator®

Isabella Moore has spent her career building businesses, breaking barriers, and empowering others to succeed.

After founding Comtec, a global translation services company, Isabella became the first female President of the British Chambers of Commerce. She went on to hold senior leadership roles across Europe, including Vice-President of Eurochambres, Chair of the Confederation of West Midlands Chambers of Commerce, and CEO of CILT, the National Centre for Languages.

Throughout her journey, she’s championed women in business and entrepreneurship, including leading the National Women’s Enterprise Panel and the Eurochambres Women’s Network.

Now, through The Olderpreneur Alliance and the Later Creator® programme, Isabella continues her mission, helping people unlock their experience and take confident steps into business at any stage of life.

The Vision Behind Later Creator®

Hear directly from Isabella on what sparked the idea.

Why start a business later in life? It’s rarely one reason. You may want to implement a long-standing ambition, you may be looking for a new challenge, or you may simply be thinking about ways to supplement retirement income.

Whatever your reason, Later Creator® gives you the confidence, skills and support to take the first step and turn your idea into reality.

,,

I established the Later Creator programme to show people that it’s never too late to find a new purpose and boost their wellbeing – through the power of venture creation.

With empathy, clarity, and enthusiasm, they share practical advice to help you overcome obstacles, unlock potential, and build a thriving business.

Entrepreneur Skills Index

The Entrepreneur Skills Index is a simple, game-based app that helps you explore your business skills and learn in a risk-free environment.

You’ll start by setting up a virtual business, a coffee shop, with £50,000 in imaginary funds. Along the way, you’ll face realistic challenges that test your decision-making and show you how your choices play out, all in a safe, no-pressure setting. At the end, you’ll receive a free assessment of your entrepreneurial skills and capabilities, along with personal insights you can act on.

It’s easy to use, completely free, and you can play as often as you like to build confidence at your own pace.
