Our programme is designed for individuals aged 50+ who are considering starting their own business, whether as a side hustle, a full-time venture, or a passion project.

No prior experience is necessary. Our programme is tailored to guide you through the fundamentals of starting a business in later life, whichever level you choose.

Yes! We provide easy-to-follow guidance, including beginner-friendly lessons on digital tools and technology.

The programme includes a mix of online learning through multiple choice questions, reflection activities, interactive exercises, video and audio guidance, and downloadable resources.

You will also have the support of an Enterprise Guide (time varies depending on which level programme you enrol in), and if you have enrolled in the ACCELERATE level you will have access to the Enterprise Skills Index app.

Our DISCOVER and ACCELERATE level programmes are self-paced, but most participants complete them within 4–8 weeks.

You’ll need a computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet access.

Once we receive payment, you will receive an email to create your logins for the eLearning portal, and information on how to engage with your Enterprise Guide. If you have enrolled in the ACCELERATE level programme we will also provide information on how to access the Enterprise Skills Index app.

Yes, as long as you have an internet connection, you can access the programme from anywhere in the world.

Yes! You will receive a Level 3 Certificate of Achievement from the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs (IOEE).

Absolutely, access to the eLearning platform is 24/7, and available for three months after you have started the programme.

Yes! You’ll have access to a community of like-minded learners and expert mentors.

The Later Creator® programme supports people aged 50+ who are exploring starting their own business. It focuses on building key soft skills—like confidence, communication, and problem-solving—to help you prepare for working with business support organisations. These partners can then assist with practical steps like finalising your business plan, creating a marketing strategy, and accessing funding. It’s a supportive, low-pressure way to explore a new venture in later life.
